Tanzania Development Forum for Youth is the Non-Governmental, Non-Partisan, Not-For Profit Making, Youth-led Organization. It was established in the year 2005 and registered on February 2006 under Non-Governmental Organization Act 2002 with Registration No.00NGO/0643, Vice President’s Office.

Our vision is to see youth’s perspectives are drawn towards sustainable development in the context of globalization. As a registered organization, Tanzania Development Forum for Youth is mandated to work in civil society, focused on developing, utilizing youth potentials and their opportunities, through awareness raising and training programs. We do operate at national level (Tanzania Mainland)

Tanzania Development Forum for Youth has the main strategic objectives, among others to foster development and democracy through;

Provision of civic education/awareness to young people
Providing HIV/AIDS awareness with priority to young people in pastoral societies
Provision of forum for conflict resolution between Pastoral and Agricultural Societies
Enhancing young people’s engagement in agricultural and business activities
